Elham AMIRATAEI

biography

My education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and Master in financial management

The history of instrument making in my family goes back to the distant years, the years that my cousins Master Bayaz Amirataei (Kamancheh maker) and Master Fereydoun Salehi (violin maker) , learned instrument making from Master Ebrahim Ghanbari Mehr.

I was also interested in this field, and since 2014 I learned to make the fiddle in the “Iran Music Museum” and “Mirza Abdullah School” under the supervision of Master Beyaz Amirataei, and now, I’ve continued my work in my own workshop so far. (Bahman Cultural Center, Tehran)

In December 2017, in the third instrument makers exhibition held by the Association of Instrument Makers, House of Music; at the artists’ house, I participated and managed to get the quality approval certificate

In 1400, I became member of the Iranian Music Instrument Makers Association.
